What We Do

At Pour Femme, we are proud to be guided by feminist principles that prioritize empowerment, justice, and healing.

At Pour Femme, our work is rooted in the understanding that empowered women create empowered communities.

Our programs offer holistic support—spanning physical, emotional, and economic needs—that helps women and girls rise above adversity and build resilient futures. Explore our core programs below to see how we’re making an impact.

Our Areas of Focus

Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)

Access to sexual and reproductive health is a basic right. Our SRHR program provides women with education, awareness, and healthcare access, enabling them to make informed choices about their bodies, protect their health, and advocate for their rights.

Physical Health and Well -being

In communities facing poverty and displacement, physical health often takes a backseat. Our Physical Health and Well-being program integrates fitness activities and health education to build resilience, manage stress, and promote a holistic approach to recovery.

Economic Empowerment

Economic empowerment is a crucial step toward self-sufficiency for women in refugee and marginalized communities. Through vocational training, small business support, and market access, we help women gain financial independence and build more secure futures.

Digital Rights and Online Safety (Optional)

In today’s digital world, online safety and digital literacy are essential. Our Digital Rights and Online Safety program teaches women internet skills and online safety practices to protect themselves from digital threats, empowering them to participate safely in the digital world.

Movement and Play for Trauma Healing

Our Movement and Play for Trauma Healing program empowers women and girls to reclaim their strength through self-defense, soccer, and trauma-informed play. By fostering physical and emotional resilience, we help survivors overcome trauma and build confidence in safe, supportive environments.

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention and Response

Our GBV Prevention and Response program offers awareness campaigns, survivor support, and legal advocacy. We provide women with tools to protect themselves, connect with supportive communities, and find pathways to justice and healing.

Climate Justice and Environmental Advocacy

Women in marginalized communities face greater risks from climate change. Through our Climate Justice and Environmental Advocacy program, we promote sustainable practices and empower women to lead environmental initiatives that protect and sustain their communities.

Why Women and Girls

Our goal is simple but transformative: to provide them with the tools, skills, and support to rebuild, recover, and rise above these challenges
